Wild & Scenic Environmental Film Festival
Posted by Calder Commons on 3:12 PM
The Wild and Scenic Film Festival was conceived by a California watershed advocacy group (the South Yuba River Citizens League (SYRCL)) in 2003 and has since flourished into the largest film festival of its kind in North America. In 2004, environmental groups started asking if they could bring the festival to their community, and gradually a touring version of the Wild and Scenic Film Festival developed. State College will host the Wild & Scenic Film Festival for the third year on Thursday, September 22, at 7pm at the State Theatre.
